I love the summer months, especially when the sun is shining bright, and all the colorful flowers are in bloom, it’s a gorgeous time of year. Remember the days when you first woke up and you realized that school was out? the excitement of being able to sleep a little longer or jumping out of your bed to call your friends to come out and play. I miss those days. Now that I’m all grown up, I have to work (sigh). But that doesnt mean that our fun stops, it just means that we get to do fun grown up things in a kid kind of way! LOL. So I decided that after work I will change into my bathing suit as soon as I get home and lounge by the pool, at least for an hour before doing anything else. Getting home from a long day at work, and the luxury of jumping into our pool (with my work clothes on if I wanted to) and cooling down, while relaxing and soaking in the sun, is an amazing feeling. We have a slice of heaven back here, and we are in love with our home. Summer fun, summertime means more outdoor dining with the family and friends. Yeah, it rains around 2 pm every day, but at least that much is predictable, and the sun brightens the rest of our day!. How about you? are you taking the time to lounge by your pool?. I would love to read all about. 🙂
My outdoor dining goes hand in hand with my current pineapple crush! I want to buy everything pineapple decor related, LOL. Let’s take a look at my lovely, chic, classy and Palm Beach Inspired Outdoor Dining.
Palm Beach Inspired: Outdoor Dining & My Pineapple Crush!
Lovely placemats purchased at the Dollar Tree, and they come in four different colors.
…I think the are perfect props for my dining photography. My gorgeous flatware is by Hampton Forge
Love my gold flatware, and my cute DIY flatware Banana Leaf Napkin (Post coming up).
Photos are random; It’s so hard for me to pick the best ones. I love this picture of my faux bamboo plates I purchased years ago. I can’t even remember where I purchased it from.
Yummy marbelized cake and my pretty marble cake stand. I love my Gold cake and knife cutter too.
Candles and holder from Biglots, another favorite place to shop for home accessories. This candle holder was a quick DIY, it originally was terrible, so I painted them Metallic Gold using my handy-dandy, favorite spray paint and I think it looks gorgeous. Planter/vase is also from Biglots. I do plan to add a beautiful plant and place it on my patio dining table.
I love my teak bowl, a thrift score purchase.
I created a tablescape that’s inviting, lovely and straightforward in design. I love Pink and white for dining and that Banana leaf print is popping up everywhere in my decor. Not sure how much I am enjoying the trend. A delicious cocktail for hot, sunny day by the pool, fresh pineapple garnishes the top, while marbelized cake sits pretty on the side, an after dinner dessert topped with fresh carnations and fresh pineapple. Candles are perfect for when the sun sets and the night is still young, swimming and having a lovely evening by the pool and under the stars.
I love the blue patio umbrella, goes well with the rest of our decor!
There goes my lovely DIY Banana Leaf print pillow again, and her partner Pineapple crush! You can check out my “No Sew” pillow tutorial here
