It’s been a while friends, I’m back. I needed a break from blogging to gather my thoughts. I was in that mood, feeling down, uninspired (which I never thought I could possibly feel) I love designing, blogging and working on cool DIY projects. What’s going on? What is shattering my groove? What is happening to me and my path? I have so much to say. I’ll keep it simple for now, I just wanted you all to know I didn’t go anywhere I’m still here. Many of you can relate and most of us don’t speak a word about how we really feel and what we go through as human beings, as aspiring designers, as bloggers.
I was feeling frustrated and pissed off at the “keeping up with” (social media). It happens to the best of us, I needed to re-group my thoughts, my spirit and gather my design senses and get back to creating, sharing my projects and remembering that it’s my passion, not a chore. It’s not personal or against anyone in particular just the whole idea of posting to keep up, I don’t want to keep up, I want to have fun.
Thanks for listening.
With that said; here is my first post since June (keeping it real).
Vintage Wreaths Inspired By Fall!
Our front doors are ready to welcome Fall, family, and friends with open arms.
Our vintage inspired Fall wreaths, Simple, classy and perfect for our modern ranch home.
All the items you see in the photo were purchased at the Dollar Tree.
What you Need:
2 wired wreaths, Gold spray paint, artificial flowers, washi tape, wire cutters, and great natural lighting.
1. Spray paint the wire wreaths first, allow to dry for 10-15 minutes. 2. I simply attached the flowers to the wreath after cutting them to size using a wire cutter. 3. The washi tape came in handy and was a better alternative to using than a glue gun for this particular craft project. Easy to attach and no drying time.
Project Time: 30 minute Total Purchase Amount: $12.00
